OVERVIEW = {Ideas muy interesantes sobre cómo se debe enfocar el desarrollo de aplicaciones
en entornos ubicuos. Las aplicaciones son algo que permite ejecutar una tarea
y por lo tanto, se deben de diseñar y desarrollar según este objetivo, en ningún
momento se debe centrar en el dispositivo concreto, ni en el interfaz que va a
tener con el usuario.
Va a ser muy importante la descarga dinámica de aplicaciones: el sistema del
usuario debe buscar aplicaciones según unos requisitos (objetivos) que quiere
conseguir y además el dispositivo debe describirse según las capacidades que
tiene para que así se adapte a su restricciones y sus características. Además
de protocolos de descubrimiento se precisan protocolos de negociación para la
descarga/utilización de aplicaciones.
Conceptos importantes a tener en cuenta: selección, adaptación y composición de
aplicaciones.
Comenta que Java no es una buena solución para el desarrollo de aplicaciones en
entornos ubicuos porque tiene grandes diferencias en la parte de interfaces con
el usuario.
Dice que el paradigma de agentes móviles es una forma de implentar su visión}

OVERVIEW = {Tutorial sobre el draft del estándar IEEE 802.15.4. El objetivo es definir un
protocolo de red de bajo coste, de bajo consumo, para aplicaciones que requieren bajas
tasas de transmisión y que su modo de operación sea adhoc. Comenta que 802.11 no tiene
en cuenta las restricciones de consumo, y que Bluetooth al ser pensado para sustituir
cables tampoco (los mecanismos posteriores que tuvieron que implementar para que fuese
un protocolo para la comunicación entre iguales implican un gran consumo de baterias.
Habla de la iniciativa ZigBee el que será el equivalente a WiFi.
Tiene dos topologías en estrella (que es la habitual) y peer-to-peer.
El nivel MAC emplea CSMA/CA. Se contemplan tres niveles de seguridad: no-security,
