Warning: Serialized objects of this class will not be compatible with future Swing releases. The current serialization support is appropriate for short term storage or RMI between applications running the same version of Swing. public int getIndexAtPoint(Point p)

Given a point in local coordinates, return the zero-based index of the character under that Point. If the point is invalid, this method returns -1.
